Pennsylvania EVV - Start Here

EVV submissions in Pennsylvania were available as of 2019. The articles below show how EVV works within SETWorks and how to configure your system so the EVV data is captured and submitted successfully.

Providers will need to reach out to Sandata to declare they will be using SETWorks to collect and submit EVV data for the select services that require it.

Below fields are required to be entered in SETWorks for a submission to Sandata to succeed.
On the Consumer's profile:
  1. Medicaid ID
  2. Consumer's address (street, city, state, and ZIP code)
For service and funding source:
  1. In the Service / Phase utility, the code and modifiers assigned to the service must match one of Pennsylvania's EVV-Approved HCPCS codes
  2. The contract / funding source in the consumer's authorization must also match the associated Program Office code
  3. HCPCS and Program Office codes for Pennsylvania can be viewed in the EVV-Approved Services and Service Codes document
In the Staff profile:
  1. SSN
  2. first name
  3. last name
  4. email
In the Activity Record:
  1. Each Activity Record must include a check-in and a check-out time, found in the User Locations tab on the record
  2. If no check in or out is logged by the staff on the record, manual entries must be entered in this tab
  3. All previously mentioned fields must be present for consumer and staff on the record
