How do I Delete Tasks?

Administrators, Managers
This article will walk you through two methods of deleting Tasks.

If you've already created Tasks from a Task Template, you won't be able to edit certain fields. If you're only making small changes, go ahead and edit the Task Template. However, if you need to make major changes to the Task Template, then you must first delete all incomplete Tasks.
Note:  You may only have access to delete tasks if you are a SET-Works administrator and have access to the Provider Build section.
Is able to modify previously created tasks.

Deleting all Tasks of a Certain Type for All Consumers

Deleting Tasks from the Tasks Utility

The simplest way of removing Tasks in bulk is through the Tasks Utility. If you need to make a major change to a specific Tasks Type, this is the recommended method. Simply click the Delete Tasks button for the Task Type you wish to remove:

Clicking the Delete Tasks button will remove all Incomplete Tasks of this type. This means it will remove all Tasks for all Consumers of this specific type that have not been marked Completed/Verified. Completed or Verified Tasks are not affected, so your historical data of completed tasks will remain intact.

Deleting Tasks for a Single Consumer

Deleting Tasks from the Review and Manage Tasks Page

To delete tasks that are currently assigned to your staff, navigate to the Review and Manage Tasks page. To do so, select Review & Sign (Tasks) from the Global Action Menu (Select: Add drop down menu). For more detail about where to find Review and Manage Tasks, please view the following article:  Viewing Tasks

Then, from the Review and Manage Tasks screen, select ALL from the Task Status drop down menu. Then, select the name of the Task from the Task Type drop down menu to view only those tasks.

Next, from the Action drop down menu to the right of a task, you can select Delete All. This will delete all instances of a recurring task for that consumer. Complete this step for all the incorrect tasks, giving you a fresh slate for adding your new tasks:
