Why did the address change?
Administrators
Occasionally when entering a street address for a consumer or employer you may notice that the address is different from what you entered. This is because SETWorks verifies all addresses with the United States Postal Service (USPS) for accuracy. This feature means that the zip code and county may occasionally update based on the data that USPS provides.
Terminology can be modified within SETWorks to better fit the needs of your organization. If the terminology in our articles are not the same on your site, talk to your local administrator to assist in translation.
What if the corrected address is wrong?
Typically, the address data that USPS provides is accurate. First, check the address you entered again to ensure the information you have is accurate.
Rarely, you may find that the address USPS provides is incorrect. In this case you can disable the address validation feature from automatically correcting the address. The address validation feature is controlled via privilege. If you do not have permission to change privileges, ask your SETWorks administrator for assistance.
