How Do I Edit A Record That Is Locked from Modifications?
Administrators, Managers
SETWorks administrators have the ability to allow a user to edit records that are past due. This will disable the "due date has passed" message and allow records to be edited. This is accomplished by using the User Feature Suspension tool.
Terminology can be modified within SETWorks to better fit the needs of your organization. If the terminology in our articles are not the same on your site, talk to your local administrator to assist in translation.
User Feature Suspension is a powerful tool that can be used to allow users unfettered access to modify historical data. Please use good judgement when utilizing this feature. We recommend allowing users 1-2 hours to make changes and enforcing limits on which records can be modified.
Accessing the User Feature Suspension Tool
Access to this feature is determined by the following privilege:
Settings > Provider Build > Maintain Privileges > Settings Configuration:
Enable User Feature Suspension within the Global Action Menu.
There are two ways to access User Feature Suspension.
To locate the User Feature Suspension tool from the Global Action Menu:
Open the Global Action Menu (Select: Add dropdown on the right of the page.
Select User Feature Suspension.
To locate the User Feature Suspension tool from Settings, follow the steps below:
Click on Settings (gear in the top right).
Select the Provider Build tab:
Scroll to the bottom to the Utilities dropdown, and select User Feature Suspension.
