There are several different ways of using a Non-Billable record in SETWorks. This article will briefly describe the terms and options shown on Non-Billables.
Terminology can be modified within SETWorks to better fit the needs of your organization. If the terminology in our articles are not the same on your site, talk to your local administrator to assist in translation.
Types of Non-Billable
Non-Billable Staff Only
This type of Non-Billable Activity Record is used for tracking time that can not be reimbursed from a funding source and does not include a consumer.
Non-Billable with Consumer
This type of Non-Billable Activity Record is used for tracking time spent with a consumer that is not eligible for reimbursement from a funding source.
Categories
Non-Billable Activity Records are divided into categories of activities (e.g. training, time-off, jury duty, meals, etc.). These codified selections help drive reporting and other summarizing functions.
Applicable to Payroll
One characteristic of a Non-Billable activity is applicable to payroll. If an activity is marked as paid, any hours logged in this category will be added to staff time-sheets and will be taken into account for payroll determination.
