Medications - Purpose Utility

Configuring Medication Purposes in SETWorks

Administrators
You can add Medication Purposes to the dropdown using the Medication Purpose Utility.
Terminology can be modified within SETWorks to better fit the needs of your organization. If the terminology in our articles are not the same on your site, talk to your local administrator to assist in translation.    

1. Select Medication Purpose in the Utility dropdown menu in the Provider Build tab.


2. Select 'Add new record'

3. Enter in the following information.
  1. Utility: Select Medication Purpose
  2. Description: This is the name that will show in the dropdown menu (e.g. Medication Purpose)
  3. Code: Enter in a unique name (e.g. MEDICATION_PURPOSE)
  4. Precedence: This number will show will it be listed in the drop down (e.g. 1 = Top and 10 = Bottom)
  5. Active: Checking active will show Medication Purpose in the dropdown.


4. Select Insert to add it to the dropdown list.


5. You will now see the recently added Medication Purpose in the dropdown menu.
