2026 Inspiring Progress Contest Details and Criteria


2026 Details and criteria. 

Submission Deadline: Friday, June 12th, 2026 

It's time to showcase your achievements and successes in SETWorks' "Inspiring Progress - Celebrating Success in Disability Services" contest!

We want to hear about progress made, challenges overcome, and the impact you've had on your community. Share your inspiring stories of change and be celebrated for the hard work and dedication you've put into making a difference.

About the award:

SETWorks will award three organizations with prize funds to further empower their success. The prize money can be used in a variety of ways, winners will have the chance to determine how to use their funds in a way that best suits their objectives. 

Some recommendations are:  

  1. Scholarship to help an employee who made a significant impact advance their education 
  2. Sponsorship to an upcoming conference or event for an individual or team 
  3. Upgraded technology or tools for the team. New computers, devices, or programs? 
  4. Invest in local events or further empower communities 
  5. Expand or enhance programs benefiting individuals with disabilities 

Criteria:

Because there are many ways of viewing “success” we’ve designed the submission criteria to cover a broad spectrum. For the purposes of our contest, success can be considered an achievement, an innovation, or a transformation. 

—> New this year: You’re welcome to include how AI was used as part of your submission—simply incorporate it into the category where it best fits.

Achievement: Any previous success you're proud of - something accomplished with great effort or skill. The completion of something important or difficult.

Innovation: A lightbulb idea that will make a long term impact on your organization or industry. The practical development and implementation of new processes, techniques, services or ideas to create new value.

Transformation: A complete or major change to processes, services or techniques, with proof of outcomes improved over time.


How To Apply:

  • To apply, please complete the following sections and submit into this form, providing as much detail as possible.
  • Not all fields are required to be completed to be considered an entry. 
  • Multiple submissions are allowed. Please complete one submission per success.
