Email Verification

Email Verification

When I log in I see a message about email verification. What does that mean?

All Users, Administrators

Email verification is an optional step where SETWorks confirms your email address. Follow the steps below to complete email verification.
The email verification process is optional. This process has no effect on whether or not you are able to log in.

For End Users

SETWorks will ask you to verify your email address. This process is started when you set up your SETWorks account for the first time.
To complete verification, check your email for the verification code. Then, enter it in SETWorks in the screen below:

This will complete the email verification process.
If you're unable to complete the verification process, simply click "continue to SETWorks" and you can delay this step until the next time you log in.
Email verification status does not affect your ability to log in, use SETWorks, or reset your password.

For Administrators

You may notice that email verification status is listed in User Maintenance:

Once the email verification process has been completed, the unverified tag will be removed.
Please note that unverified users are not limited from performing any activities in SETWorks. They have the same level of access as verified users.
The email verification process is optional.
