How do I Electronically Bill through SETWorks?

SETWorks offers electronic billing (eBilling) and integration with your funder's systems. This makes billing fast and easy. Simply create a batch, select
Billable Activity Records to include, and submit the batch for reimbursement. Some funders offer reconciliation reporting and remittance advice electronically, which will allow you to review any rejected claims.
Terminology can be modified within SETWorks to better fit the needs of your organization. If the terminology in our articles are not the same on your site, talk to your local administrator to assist in translation.
How-to Electronically Bill
Open the Global Action Menu ("
Select: Add..." dropdown).
Select: "Billing: "Manage Batches & Submit Billing"
This is the SETWorks eBilling page:
Configuration tab
On the Configuration tab, navigate to the Manage Batches section
+add new batch
Description - Insert a descriptive title/name (e.g., January 4-10 ,2021)
We recommend using a consistent naming convention.
Select "Insert"
Set the date range filters and other filters to narrow down the list of Activity Records you would like to submit for billing.
Use the checkbox to select all Activity Records or Activity Records one at a time.
Ensure the correct Batch is selected in the Available Batches section and select "add to batch"
Notice after selecting add to batch, the records are removed from this screen completely.
At this point, it is recommended to run a Billing Report for the Batch. Ensure all information is accurate. We recommend using the Activity Record Billing Report Export with Subtotals and Exceptions.
If there are any issues/errors, first correct the errors, then return to the report and run it again. Ensure all information is accurate.
Review tab
On the Review tab, navigate to the Manage Batches section
Use the > icon to drill into view Activity Records.
These are the records you are billing for - if you already ran a Billing Report then it isn't necessary to review the records a second time.
You can use the checkboxes to select consumers or specific Activity Records to complete other billing actions such as
remove from batch,
resubmit claim,
replacement claim,
void claim.
Find your batch in the Batches for submission dropdown
Submit batch
That's it! You've successfully submitted your billing.
You will receive a SETWorks message regarding the status of your Batch within a few minutes.
CIMOR Integrations
