Can't Edit Activity Record
Why can't I edit this activity record?
All users
Activity Records may not be editable for several reasons:
- The record has a counter-signature (has been signed by a manager) and is now "locked".
- The record is "locked" due to billing.
- The record is "locked" due to exceeding the number of days in the past to where a record can be created, updated, or signed.
- You're not apart of the record - staff can only edit records to which they are listed as staff.
Billable Individual Activity Record: A locked record is indicated by the graying-out of details and text as well as a missing "update" button on the Activity Record.
Billable Group Activity Record: Notice the banner at the top stating the record cannot be edited because this user is not in this group. Also, notice there is no place to document within the Outcomes/Goals tab, as well as the graying-out of the Overall Comments box.
Troubleshooting Recommendations
- Talk to your manager or administrator to talk about the best plan of action to edit the Activity Record.
- The manager can remove their signature by opening the record and updating it.
- The manager can use User Feature Suspension to unlock a record that is "old" and exceeds the creation, updated, or signed date.
