Why isn't my Authorization showing in the Activity Record dropdown?

Terminology can be modified within SETWorks to better fit the needs of your organization. If the terminology in our articles are not the same on your site, talk to your local administrator to assist in translation.

Within a Billable Individual Activity Record or Appointment, there are a few reasons Authorizations may not appear within the dropdown.

1. The consumer does not have an Active (unexpired) Authorization in SETWorks. 
2. Authorizations are directly associated to departments - user does not have access to the Department to which the Authorization has been assigned.
3. Authorizations have start and end dates - the Activity Record is being created outside the Authorization date range. 
   (e.g., Activity Records can not be created prior to the start of the authorization or after it has expired)



Troubleshooting Recommendations

Consumer Profile
Navigate to Consumers > Select Consumer of choice > Authorizations tab

1. Ensure the Consumer has an Active (unexpired) Authorization entered into the system.
2. Double check the Department assigned to the Authorization. 
    NOTE: Users must have access to the Department associated to the Authorization in order to document on that Authorization. 
3. Double check the Authorization Start and End Dates to ensure the Activity Record date is within the date range.
