Assigning Consumers to Departments

How do I assign my Consumer to a Department?

All Users, Everyone
There are privileges surrounding visibility and ability to assign consumers to departments. 
Terminology can be modified within SETWorks to better fit the needs of your organization. If the terminology in our articles are not the same on your site, talk to your local administrator to assist in translation.

Consumer Department Privileges

Settings > Provider Build > Maintain Privileges > Consumer Profile: 
Is able to update Consumer Departments.
Display the Consumer's Departments.
Display all active departments on the Consumer's Profile regardless of staff department access.

Modifying Department Membership

To assign consumers to departments:
Open the consumer's profile.
Scroll to the bottom of the page.
Click on Additional Information in the bottom left to expand the page.
At the bottom of the Additional Information section is the Departments table.  Check/uncheck departments as applicable.
A consumer must always belong in at least 1 department
