Is there a way to create a set of 24 hour appointments? For example, a person provides respite services for back to back 24 hour overnight respite, for 48 hours. To create an appointment for them, the time picker does not allow for times 12:00am-12:00am because it essentially is in the same day. To do the 12:00am-11:59pm works however, it doesn't connect the midnight times like it does if it's split up.
So far I created test appointments and the best I could do for minimal amount of having to check in/check out and also keeping our EVV manual edits down as much as possible, I created records that went as follows: 10/1/24 4:00pm-12:00am, 10/2/24 12:00am-4:00pm. When checking in to this record setworks recognizes the overnight and captures the EVV data for the next record for the 12:00am check in and when you check out at the end of the 10/2 record at 4:00pm it captures the EVV data from the previous record for the midnight hours. Then, another check in on 10/2 at 4:01pm-12:00am followed by 10/3/24 12:00am-4:00pm with the connecting of the midnight hours for that record as well.
If a program specialist is trying to create a full 24 hour appointment and they put the times in for 12:00am-11:59pm, that connection for the "overnight" check in/check out is not made.
With the recent update to the EVV compliance percentage going from 50% to 85%, we are trying to find ways to lessen the manual edits as much as possible as our average compliance rate has been 80% but to achieve averages of 85% by January 2025 some other things need to be put in place, like use of the appointments so we don't have to always manually add the midnight EVV data.
I hope I explained that correctly and asked my question clearly.
Thank you, I look forward to your response!
